Bark, Hiss, Meow, Chirp, Bubble, growl, whinny, grunt, I’m listening!

My Story:

I was born in Connecticut and sold to a family that had wanted another kind of Dog. Lucky for me that they had 3 unruly boys who loved to torture me. My name used to be Macy. It was a dark time in my life. Then one day I was given to a lovely Human named Jennifer, she was and is my savior. Unfortunately I have to share her with a Husband (What a pain he is, he makes me do my business outside when I could easily go anywhere in the house. But this is a small price to pay for my companion).

When Jennifer took me home she had 2 children of her own. Not so bad, they loved me but I had to set the boundaries and they know where I stand. They can pet me when I say they can pet me. A girl has to have her standards.

As time went by Jennifer went and had another child, can you believe it, I have to share her with a baby!! But once again we were able to work it out and life was good.

Then one day my perfect life came to an abrupt halt. A large dark cloud came into my life and it’s name was Shadow!!! A very large, black, hairy and Playful black Lab Puppy!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! He was bigger then me at 3 months. What was I to do, the chasing, biting, playing- he would not leave me alone. It took time and a lot of bossing but we worked out an understanding, I am the boss and he is my protector. Together we lay in the sun and bark at anything that moves. If he goes near my Companion for some attention all bets are off and he gets a nip in the leg, or ear.
